🏡 Nashville Roots, a New Home in Hermitage

At the Barbara Stewart State Farm Agent office in Hermitage, TN, we bring decades of experience to insurance conversations with our Nashville and Middle Tennessee Good Neighbors. I spent three years working in my brother in law's State Farm office before opening my own office in 1989. Today, my team and I bring a combined 110 years of State Farm insurance experience to individuals, families, and business owners. 🤝 Get to Know Me, Barbara Stewart

Working in my brother in law's State Farm office introduced me to a career centered on helping people navigate insurance through different stages of life. Three years later, I opened my own office and have been serving Good Neighbors ever since.

Over the years, I have earned the CLU® designation, and I am grateful that our office has had the opportunity to work with multiple generations of many of the same families. As their lives have changed, we have been here for new drivers, moves, growing households, new homes, businesses, and other milestones that can bring different insurance questions.

Our experience is truly a team effort. Don has worked with me for 34 years, and Sarah has been part of our office for 31 years. Together, our team brings 110 years of combined State Farm insurance experience to the people we serve.

We recently moved to 1306 Central Court, Hermitage, TN 37076, beginning a new chapter close to the Nashville communities we have served for decades. Our new Hermitage office gives longtime Good Neighbors and people who are just getting to know us a new place to stop by, meet our team, and talk through their insurance questions.

Outside the office, I enjoy reading, cooking, baking, watching sports, hiking, and traveling. Staying connected to the community is also important to me. I am a past chairman and current member of YELL (Youth Excelling in Learning Leadership), a member of the Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce, and a past board member and current supporter of L’Evate.

🍂 Fall in Middle Tennessee: What Has Changed for You?

Cooler days, changing schedules, weekend projects, and seasonal home maintenance make fall a natural time to consider whether anything has changed around your property, living situation, or vehicle.

What home changes should I tell my insurance agent about? Renovations, a roof replacement, a new deck or fence, or another significant property update may be a reason to check in. Tell us what changed, and we can take another look at your Home Insurance information.

Fall is also a useful time to clear leaves and debris from gutters and drainage areas, test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, check exterior lighting, and arrange appropriate heating system maintenance as you prepare your Middle Tennessee home for cooler weather.
